Sales Representative

Overview

Trident Steel is a distributor of oil country tubular goods and API line pipe seeking highly motivated, career-focused sales associates. Our target clientele includes oil and natural gas exploration companies, pipeline / transmission companies and drilling contractors. This opportunity requires servicing an existing customer base while prospecting for new accounts.

Job Duties:

  • Call on existing and new accounts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Territory management

Qualifications include:

  • College degree preferred, emphasis in sales a plus
  • Excellent written / communication skills
  • Sales experience in the energy industry a plus (i.e. pipe, valves, fittings, etc.)

Defined Outside Sales Territories:

  1. Greater Houston area
  2. Permian Basin and Dallas – Ft. Worth
  3. Southeast Corridor (Louisiana / Mississippi / Alabama)
  4. Oklahoma / Panhandle
  5. Denver, CO / Casper, WY / Rocky Mountain Region

Inside / Outside Sales:

  1. Saint Louis, MO

Compensation package:

  • Competitive base salary, plus commission
  • Car allowance (outside sales only)
