- The U.S. Rig Count increased to 521 as of Sept. 24, 2021 from an historic low of 244 on August 14, 2020. This, however, is still below the 796 U.S. rigs as of January 3, 2020.
- DUCs dropped to 5,713 as of August 2021, a decline of 1,623 vs. December 2020 and 1,956 vs. August 2020.
